I have 295 pages of business names and addresses which need to be entered into an Excel file and have all the duplicates taken out. This is a one time job. I will send the list in a zip file and you’ll create an Excel file showing: Name of Business, Address, Phone and Fax, and contact name. Respond with your (FIXED) price for doing this and how long it will take you to do so. Future work may be available.
Here is more information/description: I realize that stating I have 295 pages does not really give an accurate picture of the quantity of names. I'm thinking that the pages contain a total of about 1500 names. They can be copied from the word document that I provide you via a zip emailed attachment. You'll see much wording that you do not need to be concerned with in the Word document you'll be copying data from. All I need is the Company Name, complete Address, Phone number and Fax number.
You then use your skill to copy and paste into an Excel file (that I also provide you via email attachment). These contacts are from several towns of Chambers that are close together so some companies/contacts are duplicates as they are members in several of the Chambers. As you are entering the names in Excel, previous entered contact names will start to fill in, so you'll know it's a duplicate and you can go to the next name on the list (I don't want duplicate company information in the Excel list).
Here is a pictorial description of what I want (you can see that some pages have much extra wording and others do not; so 295 pages doesn't really tell you the quantity; I'd say approximately 2000 names):
